
Kesley Reis
KesleyReis grew up in Caieiras, São Paulo, Brazil. He began drumming in his church at the early H age of six. He attended college at UniSant'Anna in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he received his Degree in Music Education. While at UniSant'Anna, he also studied at Tom Jobim Conservatory of music for nine years. Kesley is well known in the São Paulo area. His expertise includes Brazilian style, jazz, rock, pop, and classical. He has recorded professionally at studios in Brazil and performed with talented people/groups which consist of the Melhoramentos Philarmonic Orchestra of Caieiras, Tomorrow's Voices Choir, Coral Kemuel, Rafael Bitencourt, Araucária Big Band, Paulista Jazz Quintet, and Upway Band. Kesley was the lead percussionist with the Gran Finale Festival São Paulo (BR). Kesley also leads many workshops in Brazil talking about Music Business and Brazilian Music in academies and churches. In 2017 Kesley went to the United States of America. When Kesley first arrived in the states he worked with Butler University (IN) leading a percussion workshop about Brazilian Music. During his time there he also performed with the Indianapolis Children's Choir (ICC) and Columbus Indiana Children's Choir (CICC). After Indiana Kesley packed up and moved to California where he currently resides. Today, Kesley spends his time doing sessions, shows, tours also he dedicates a lot of time developing his own music and composition, as well as creating a lot of content for the music community.
